Terms of Service

Last updated: July 7, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TrackMuse, available at trackmuse.app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

TrackMuse is a web-based track and task manager for music producers, labels, mastering engineers and client work. It lets you organise tracks on boards, manage checklists, upload audio and project files ("Idea Drop"), take timestamped mix notes and view analytics about your workflow.

We may add, change or remove features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to announce material changes that negatively affect paid features.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You can register with an email address and password, or sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that were created with false information or that are used by someone other than the account holder.

3. Plans, billing and cancellation

The Service offers a Free plan with limits on the number of scenes, tracks and Idea Drop storage, and a paid Pro subscription (billed monthly or yearly) that removes those limits and unlocks analytics. Current prices and limits are shown on the pricing section of our landing page and during checkout.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in the app; your Pro features remain active until the end of the period you already paid for. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

If a renewal payment fails or a subscription is cancelled, your account reverts to the Free plan. Content that exceeds Free plan limits is not deleted, but you may be unable to add new scenes, tracks or uploads until you are within the limits again or resubscribe.

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice; price changes apply from your next renewal.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you store in the Service — your tracks, files, notes, checklists and any other material you upload ("Your Content"). We claim no ownership over it.

You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce and transmit Your Content solely as needed to operate and provide the Service (for example, storing your uploads and serving them back to you).

You are solely responsible for Your Content and must have the rights to upload it. Do not upload content that infringes third-party rights, is unlawful, or contains malware.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' accounts; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by circumventing plan limits or rate limits; (d) resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission; (e) use the Service to store or distribute content you do not have the right to use.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service.

Upon termination your right to use the Service ends. We may delete Your Content after account termination; export your data (the app includes a one-file backup export) before closing your account.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own backups of important files.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrackMuse and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or 50 USD if you have not paid us anything).

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
